Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
This qualification is suitable for people working in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) role who work to provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.
The qualification reflects the role of workers who apply a broad knowledge base and well developed skills in a wide variety of contexts and may include coordinators, advisors and facilitators.

Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Occupational Health and Safety Officers assist in the implementation and evaluation of policies and programs to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, and assist injured staff through the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation process.
Occupational Health and Safety Technician
Occupational Health and Safety Technicians collect data on workplace safety. They may also develop and analyse worker safety programs under the direction of Occupational Health and Safety Specialists.
WorkCover Inspectors assist employers and employees to understand their rights and obligations under occupational health and safety, workers compensation and injury management legislation. They also have a range of powers to enforce compliance with the legislation.
